So helpful!
So helpful!
The chord finding feature is fantastic. I just wish that it could use songs from Apple Music too.
Ive been using the desktop version for a couple of years and Im so happy with this app. I have an iPad pro and this app alone almost justifies the pro and its 4 speakers. Must have for anyone trying to learn a new piece of music quickly.
Never looked back. Awesome app!
Other features as expected.
The app seems to only work with songs that you have purchased through iTunes. It does not work with music downloaded with an Apple Music subscription.
[update for newest version: This app is literally unbelievable. I cant believe what they are able to do on an iPhone.] Seriously. I cant believe they managed to make this app work on a phone. Literally impossible on the computers I worked with in college and now it lives on my phone. Welcome to the future. I play along with songs at home on my iMac and then drop out the vocals on my phone and sing along while I drive. Awesome.
So I really like this app. There are a few things that does need improving are features that need to be added. But I usually use this on my Mac and open up projects on here when away from my computer. With that said, this new update doesnt allow me to open my projects. It crashes every time I try to download a project from iCloud so this is pretty much useless for me at the moment. My rating is based on the app itself and doesnt reflect the fact that the app is not functioning properly at the moment
1- you cant use your music from app Music on your iPhone and iPad. You just can if you pay for Match 2- you cant send the MP3 slown-downed or detuned.
Please bring back the search bar in projects tab am a solo performer this makes life a lot easier.
I used to love Capo. I have used it in various versions. I use the desktop and the iOS versions. The "Touch" release is just a money grab for a new and inferior interface. It is too many steps backwards for too few improvements. The worst part is that the developer acknowledges these shortcomings but released it anyway. There is no way to move forward or backward in song beyond scrolling manually. That was a feature in prior versions. It doesnt respect the volume settings. I cant even begin to explain how dumb that decision was. Someone needs to sit down with the team and explain to them that usability matters beyond gee whiz features. I hope that the next upgrade restores vital functionality.
Astounding. How does it work? Magic. Black magic. But worth it for guitar practice. I use it nearly every day to supplement tabs for determining phrasing and rhythm. Couldnt imagine life without it.
This App let me transcribe Jason Becker... Enough said
Hardly anyone buys and stores local media now. Please talk to the developers that make djay and figure out how they partnered with Spotify. This app is useless unless you have music files (MP3, etc.) stored on your device, but with Spotify, it could be amazing.
Works great can to slow down songs to figure out how to play solos, cord changes. Love it
This is one of the best apps. I cant wait for the section about piano
The original version was such a winner. 5 stars, got the job done well and quickly. This one pales in comparison. The UI design is poor and very unintuitive to use. The measure and chord detection are useless and only takes up real estate. Id pay double for the old version if they made it available and updated it.
Unfortunately Im getting a lot of stuttering on an iPad Pro even with the quality turned to best. Also, I miss the spectrum analyzer view that the Mac version has. I hope you plan to add it to the iPad version!
Very useful but I wish there was Apple Music support
as many others have stated - the old version of Capo was far superior to this dumbed down version. please bring back markers! using regions to mark sections is clumsy!
